Welcome to IIBI's webpage about digital records preservation
This webpage is aimed to offer in one single place a selection of documents about digital records preservation produced in large part by Mexican TEAM of InterPARES Project, as well as an anthology of other full text complementary documents compiled on the same subject. It is intended for all those interested in digital records and digital archival preservation. Special emphasis has been placed on collecting documents in Spanish for these readers.
Its purpose is to introduce visitors to 1) teorethical knowledge developed in recent years as well as technological and archival skills which help a better understanding about the creation, keeping, and transfer of digital records and digital archives, and (2) the management and preservation of digital records in public and private institutions or in their external services.
